Code of Conduct
Membership in The Man Card Council is a privilege, not a right, and it comes with certain baseline expectations. This is not a long list. Most of it is common sense.
Expected Conduct
- Treat fellow members with respect, even in disagreement.
- Submit content that is either your own, or shared with the genuine intent of helping fellow members. Do not misrepresent someone else's accomplishment as your own, and do not submit another person's content without their knowledge or consent.
- Exercise reasonable judgment and caution in any activity you choose to undertake, on or off the Platform.
- Follow all applicable local, state, and federal laws in any activity you submit or perform.
- Report content that appears fraudulent, dangerous, or in violation of these standards through the appropriate channel.
Prohibited Conduct
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse of any member.
- Submission of falsified, staged, or plagiarized content presented as genuine.
- Encouraging or instructing others to perform illegal or genuinely dangerous acts.
- Attempting to manipulate, exploit, or abuse the scoring, badge, or moderation systems.
- Impersonating another member, admin, or the Council itself.
- Sharing another member's personal information without consent.
Enforcement
Violations of this Code may result in point deductions, submission removal, suspension, or full revocation of membership, at the sole discretion of the Council. Serious violations — including illegal conduct, harassment, or safety threats to other members — may result in immediate revocation without prior warning.
The Council's determination on any Code of Conduct matter is final. Members may appeal a decision through a support ticket, but appeals are not guaranteed a reversal.
