Terms of Service

By accessing or using themancardcouncil.com and its associated services (the "Platform"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. User-Submitted Content

Members may submit photographs, videos, descriptions, and other content ("Submissions") in connection with point-earning activities, badge applications, or general use of the Platform.

By submitting content, you affirm that:

• You are the owner of the content, or have full rights to share it.
• The content does not depict illegal activity.
• You are solely responsible for your own safety, judgment, and decision-making in creating any content you submit — including any activity depicted, whether performed specifically for submission to the Platform or otherwise.

2. Assumption of Risk

Submissions frequently depict physical activities, tools, equipment, outdoor conditions, or other inherently risky undertakings. The Man Card Council does not review, endorse, supervise, or verify the safety of any activity depicted in a Submission before, during, or after it occurs.

You acknowledge and agree that any activity you undertake — whether or not related to a Submission, a badge, a category, or a scoring opportunity on the Platform — is undertaken entirely at your own risk. The Man Card Council, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not responsible for any injury, death, property damage, or other loss arising from any activity you choose to perform, film, photograph, or submit.

3. No Liability for Third-Party Actions

The Man Card Council is not responsible for how other members or the public may respond to, comment on, imitate, or act upon content you submit, nor for any consequence arising from another user attempting to replicate an activity shown in a Submission.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Man Card Council and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your Submissions, or any activity depicted therein — including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Man Card Council, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your Submissions, your conduct, or your use of the Platform.

6. Content Removal

The Man Card Council reserves the right to remove any Submission, suspend, or revoke membership at its sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to content depicting dangerous, illegal, or reckless behavior.

7. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
